This place oozes history! It’s one of the best places I’ve stayed! It’s a touch of heaven where guests can relax, unwind and enjoy! The location is exceptional! You are surrounded by beautiful gardens but a short walk or drive from restaurants and shops. The owners are extremely nice people who make sure you have everything you need and more. The rooms are bright, spacious and cozy. I particularly enjoyed the deep large bath! Breakfast was amazing! I will definitely be returning to LIMEFIELD HOUSE. Pure Quality !
Once my jet lagged brain figured out that private grounds sign meant WE were allowed and the hoi polloi weren't I was so impressed. Very friendly owners and a stunningly beautiful spot. Bed was v v comfortable!
Gorgeous setting. Really welcoming and friendly staff. Breakfast was lovely. Building is being modernised and looking a little tired in places. Had a great night sleep. Would happily stay again.
Excellent bed and breakfast in a 200 year old mansion. The room was large, the bed very comfortable, the breakfast delicious and the atmosphere luxurious.
this was the second time we visited this lovely place, and again were not disappointed. Warm welcome to this lovely home. Dogs were welcome to and were not charged for them .They must be well behaved ofcourse and clean. Breakfast was first class, choice of fresh strawberries and bleuberries, several yoghurts, to choose from. ceareals,juice and the famous scotch cooked breakfast. We will here again.

Amazing place - snuck away from suburbia, this beautiful house has the magic touch of a manager that cares - Grieg is such a lovely person and his crew all share the same passion for the finer things in life, like service and friendliness. Cannot praise this establishment enough.
Last minute booking, Didn't fail us. A 1800s mansion Steeped in historical architecture, We arrived late and were made to feel so welcome by Greig with a complimentary drink in the lounge. Our room was faultless. The Scottish breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend a visit.
